Long-Term Running Goals: Have the courage to enter and finish a 100 mile trail race.
Sub 2:40 marathon! but i can't say i expect to ever run that fast.
Win any race with over 100 entrants in it.
Personal: Triple majored in chemical physics, philosophy, and biology.
PhD in biomedical science
Was doing aging research but for now switching to chemistry and am planning to write a science fiction novel.
First year I have trained properly, 2nd year of being serious about running.

| Leatherman's loop trail race in pound ridge NY. ~1200 starters, finished 15th. Slipped from 8th place finish last year and was almost a minute slower. Felt pretty good though and was pleased with mediocre mileage. Averaged 7:16 pace. Ran 4.4 miles through park after. |

| trail race at hop brook park in naugatuck. Thought course was going to be pancake flat and i went out way too hard for my fitness. it seems like this week and last week i do the first 1/2 mile in under 3mins and then just keep getting slower. This race was two loops and i think i ran 21:30 for the first loop and finished in 45. ended up 6th place, but not too many runners. hiked a couple miles at huntington after.
